Inca Jungle Trek to Machu Picchu

To enter the Inca citadel you will have to show your passport plus your entrance ticket if you are a foreign tourist and for national tourists, you must show your ID plus the entrance ticket. Remember that you can only enter an authorized tour guide and the maximum time in Machu Picchu is 4 hours.

In Aguas Calientes, you will also have two ways to return to Cusco
First Option: You can take the return train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo and in Ollantaytambo, you must get on a minivan that will bring you back to Cusco. This route is the shortest but requires an expense for the cost of the train.

Second Option: You can take the road back from Aguas Calientes to Hidroelectrica and at Hidroelectrica you must take a minivan to Cusco. This way back is cheaper but requires a walk of 2 hours plus 6 hours in a minivan.
