As every year, the prices of the tickets to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu undergo changes in the different types of tickets that the Ministry of Culture of Cusco has. In this article we will give you the new prices of the tickets to Machu Picchu and the new entry times to the Inca citadel.


Tickets for Peruvians and the Andean Community (Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia)

The general rate for Peruvians and citizens of the Andean Community is 64 soles ($17.58)
The rate for university and/or technical higher education students and for minors is 32 soles ($8.79).
Note: To acquire this ticket, national and Andean community students must present their valid student card.

Tickets for Foreigners

In the case of foreign visitors, the rate for adults is 152 soles ($41.76), students 77 soles ($21.15), and minors 70 soles ($19.23).
The rate for university and/or technical higher education students and for minors is 32 soles ($8.79).
Note: To acquire this ticket, foreign students must present their valid ISIC card.
Free Entry for Cusqueños
On Sundays, the free entrance of the citizens of Cusco to La Llaqta of Machu Picchu is maintained. To do so, they must compulsorily have the zero-cost entry ticket, registered in the electronic reservation system.
They do not pay As of January 1, 2021, children under 3 years of age do not pay their admission. On the other hand, children over 3 years old will pay a student rate.

What do Machu Picchu tickets include?

Machu Picchu, Inca City.
