Itinerary

Day 1CUSCO - OLLANTAYTAMBO - ABRA MÁLAGA - HUAMANMARCA - SANTA MARIA- SANTA TERESA

On this first day, our Inca jungle trail begins with the pick up at your hotel at 6:30 am, or later depending on the location of your hotel, then go through the Sacred Valley of the Incas to Ollantaytambo (2,792 masl), rest point for 30 minutes. On the way, we can see the beautiful panoramic views of the Vilcanota mountain range, until we reach Abra Málaga (4316 m.s.n.m) around noon; In this place, we will have a short safety talk from our guides and we will begin our great cycling adventure, heading to the Jungle for approximately 2 hours of descent. If you don’t like the idea of ​​going downhill on a bicycle, you can travel comfortably sitting in our minivan behind the group that is cycling. During the adventure we will pass through small towns, rivers, fields, and streams to finally reach the archaeological site of Huamanmarca where we will finish the activity and keep the equipment and bicycles and we will go to Santa Maria (1,204 masl), lunch and Rafting from 4:00 to 6:00 in the afternoon, later we will board our mobility to get to the next point the city of Santa Teresa (1,500 meters above sea level), here will be our dinner and overnight. So we end a day full of activities.

Day 2SANTA TERESA - HYDROELECTRIC- AGUAS CALIENTES.

Day 3AGUAS CALIENTES - MACHU PICCHU - HIDROELÉCTRICA - CUSCO

This is the most prominent day, to visit Machupicchu we have several entry shifts can be at 6-7-8- or 9 in the morning, depending on the date of the advance payment of the tour we can book the entrance as early as possible. For this, we have two alternatives to go by bus (not included) or walking for about 2 hours, then at the control door, we will meet with the whole group to access the Machu Picchu. Upon entering Machu Picchu our guide will take you through all the most important archaeological sites such as; the temple of the sun, guard house, the temple of the three windows, the house of the Inca, among many places. Other options may be to climb the mountain of Huayna Picchu or the mountain Machu Picchu (if you have tickets booked in advance, “not included”) or walk to the Sun Gate (Inti Punku), but you should keep in mind that you are going return to Cusco by minivan and for this you have to return to Hydroelectric walking, to board your minivan towards Cusco. An ideal time to start walking back is approximately 11:00 am or 11:30 from Machupicchu to arrive at Hidroeléctrica at 2:30 pm and have enough time to eat something and board the minivan at 3 in the afternoon at most.
