In the morning at the agreed time we will begin our tour of the terraces of Moray and the salt mines of Maras, along the way we will appreciate beautiful landscapes surrounded by beautiful inter-Andean glaciers. Our first stop will be the archaeological site of Moray where we will be able to observe the experimental agricultural terraces which are a group of circular terraces that are up to 150m deep, built on natural hills. According to historians, it is said that they were an Inca agricultural laboratory, these have their irrigation canals and each level constitutes a microclimate. The average annual temperature between the upper part and the deep part varies up to 15ºC. After visiting Moray we will go to the town of Maras where you can see its streets and its colonial-style doorways.
Finally we will visit the Salineras de Maras, this impressive place has 2000 salt wells, currently these mines continue to be exploited by local families.
