Day 1: VALLE SUR – TIPON – PIQUILLAQTA – ANDAHUAYLILLAS
This is a tour where we will have the opportunity to visit the archaeological sites of Tipón, Piquillaqta and Andahuaylillas located in the southern part of Cusco.
Our tour starts at 8:00 am with the pick up at your hotel to go to the archaeological complex of Tipón. This archaeological site was an important place and a shrine where the water was worshiped with the care and veneration with which the Incas treated this element; that is why we can observe a rich hydraulic engineer each of the terraces.
Then we will go to continue with the tour to visit the archaeological site of Piquillaqta. The archaeological complex of Piquillacta or Piki Llaqta is an archaeological site formed by the remains of a city in Ancient Peru. Today is a national archaeological park of great natural and scenic interest.
We will continue the tour to visit Andahuaylillas that has two major tourist attractions: The Sistine Chapel and the Church of San Pedro that inside there are beautiful pictures of the Cusqueña school of the Colonial period.
At the end of the tour we will return to the city of Cusco and in the afternoon you will have time to tour the imperial city.
